Other Upcoming Events:
This October, the "HOWL-OWEEN" Pet Food Drive is coming to a Fred Meyer near you to benefit local animals in need! Throughout the entire month, you can drop off pet food or treats at either the Northern Lights or DeBarr locations, and every donation will go directly to supporting local pets in our community.Â

Your generosity directly helps pets both in our shelter and across the state have full bellies, happy purrs, and wagging tails. Allowing us to continue to show up for animals in need within our community and helping families facing tough circumstances get the essential supplies they need. Â

A huge thank you to Fred Meyer for hosting this drive and standing with the people and pets in our community!Â
The hockey season is in full swing here in Anchorage, and to celebrate its start, we’re partnering up with Raising Cane’s and the UAA Seawolves to bring back a crowd favorite: the Mini Dog Races!Â
Join us at the October 16th game against Lake Superior State University to cheer on the Seawolves, and root for some adorable dogs sprinting across the ice to help shelter pets find the caring families they deserve.Â

The puck drops at 6 PM. Secure your spot and grab tickets for the most adorable race of the season here. We can’t wait to see you there!Â
